MHA Lighting is proud to have received a selection of prestigious awards and accreditations over the past few years, recognising the quality of our products, their positive environmental impact and the on-going professionalism, commitment and support of the MHA Lighting team.

 

 

MHA Lighting was awarded the ‘Manufacturing Innovation’ category winner  in the 2013 Made in the North West Awards for its portfolio of North West designed and manufactured LED lighting products. Fighting off tough competition from five other finalists, including BAE Systems.

 

 

 

One of only a handful of companies to be awarded the Tomorrow’s Facilities Management Product and Services Awards 2013 for the TiLite luminaire which delivers clean, bright light to create the highest levels of illumination whilst slashing energy bills and CO2 emissions.

 

 

 

Successful membership of The Lighting Industry Association. The LIA operates a comprehensive Quality Control Accreditation Programme exclusively for members, known as ‘The Code of Practice (CoP) for the Safety of Luminaires Scheme’.

This Scheme is intended to substantiate a member’s claim of conformity with the European CE Marking Directive/Low Voltage Directive, implemented in the UK by the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994. Participation in this Scheme is a prerequisite of membership unless ISO Accreditation is currently held.

 

 

 

The Innovative Lighting Product of the Year category of the Electrical Industry Awards 2012 for the TiLite luminaire, which is helping NHS Trusts fight hospital acquired infection rates and achieve significant energy savings.

 

 

Best Product Innovative category in the Retro Fit Awards 2012 for the TiLite luminaire. MHA Lighting impressed the judges with its unique sealed unit design which stops dust, bacteria and dead insects from gathering around warm light fittings and spreading deadly superbugs.

 

 

MHA Lighting has been named in LUX Magazine’s prestigious PowerList  2012.

The Manchester-based lighting specialist was one of just 25 companies identified by lighting industry experts as “lighting pioneers who are revolutionising the lighting industry.”

MHA Lighting MD Tom Harrison even made it onto the front cover of April’s magazine with a headline that MHA Lighting was the manufacturer to keep your eye on this year.

 

 

MHA Lighting has been recognised for its outstanding performance by scooping two major categories at the Energy Innovation Awards 2011. The Highly-prized Grand Prix Award is given to the company judges believed to have shown the greatest overall innovation.

MHA Lighting impressed the judges with its unique use of LED for low energy lighting, which can create savings of up to 80% compared to traditional lamps.

 

MHA Lighting in partnership with Luminanz was recognised in 2009 for its outstanding performance as a British small business with commercially viable climate-change innovations.
