Our Approach is Unique.
MHA Lighting is not just another LED lighting manufacturer.
We use award-winning waveguide technology to shine light sideways into encapsulation – avoiding direct contact with the eye and providing a safe and efficient uniformed light output.
We currently choose to use LEDs as the light source due to their high performance and low energy use characteristics – but can, and will, use other light sources as improvements are made in other technologies.
We also use acrylic rods to focus and control the light output, reducing the number of LEDs required. This means we can use high power LEDs, draw less current and have no need to diffuse the output.
It also enables light to be emitted uniformly out of an optic with directional control to a specific task area.
Our technology offers distinct advantages over other LED manufacturers as it allows us to replicate the light quality and uniformity of traditional lighting for a fraction of the energy usage.

Scott Safety, a Tyco company / GlaxoSmithKline / the NHS / Birmingham NEC / Greater Manchester Police / Manchester Airport Group / Newcastle Airport / Budgens / SPAR / Londis / Local Authorities and Chevron-Texaco.
These clients have a portfolio of requirements across various applications for a range of MHA’s products, including both interior and external lighting requirements.
MHA Lighting collaborates closely with its contractors and specifiers and will frequently refer our approved partners to our customers. For example when Newcastle Airport asked us to do a full turnkey installation of their car park we offered the work to Manchester Airport Group’s (MAG’s) preferred contractor who had previous experience of installing our lights in MAG’s car parks.
